Sooo wow it's been a long time since I've blogged but I saw a couple of my friends posting their blogs on fb and I just remembered about this old thing! well the summer has ended and thank goodness for that! working in waterton was defininetly an experience to remember. I have not learned so many lessons in such a short period of time before in my whole entire life! I'm back in school now and taking 1 too many courses lol next semester hopefully I'll be smarter about what I can handle. Life in general has been a crazy whirlwind of emotions! I got back from waterton and just didn't feel like I fit in anywhere. I decided one day to move out because I think I was missing the independance I had in waterton. I live with a crazy house of girls and we have so much fun together! Between running around being silly and cooking super gross amateur meals I am quite enjoying this new adventure I'm on. Everyone gets along really well so I'm not scared about any roomie fights but it's only the first couple months...bahaha. Anyways I just thought I would get on here and update the blog...just so my one follower...lauren...haha...could get an update. Lauren is all growed up and married now...yay!

Waterton

Hey everyone!
So this week I moved to Waterton and I am absolutly loving it so far! Everynight my roomate and I hike Bears hump because there is a challenge in Waterton to hike Bears Hump 30 times this summer...so far we are at 3 times so were 1/10 th done already, then we get a T-shirt and a french toast breakfast..mmm. I have been working at the Waterton Lakes Lodge and I'm really excited about it, I get good hours, the managment is organized and professional..probably due to the fact that they are mostly LDS haha. We live above a rec centre so we can swim and go to the gym anytime we want. Yesterday I walked to Big Scoop to get an ice cream...obviously..and I dropped off a Resume and today I went back and got a job! I'm sooo excited cuz now I have 2 jobs and hopefully I can pay off school in the Fall. Well that's about all the news I have soo far and there is just too many fun things I could be doing instead of being on the computer.

Well I'm home for a couple days before heading out to Waterton and I've been pretty much working at Thriftway as much as I can. I really have been lucky to be home for this whole week to spend some time with my family before I am off again. Canmore really ended up sucking. We were promised all these things that didn't come through which kind of upset me . We moved up here thinking that we were going to get full time hours and that the amount of rent we were paying was less then is actually was. Anyways it definitely was not full time hours and sometimes we would only work about 2 and a half hours a day. So basically I broke completely even and sat in a gross crack house motel for 3 weeks. My roomate and I had to sit down and actually think about the positives so that we could avoid our frustration. So for the 3 weeks we were there we had a lot of gospel conversations with our fellow employees and we formed some bonds with people who are also going to Waterton. We learned how hard it is to live on our own and how much we really appreaciate our families and all they do for us. Plus we got a lot of TV time in..mostly watching say yes to the dress and TLC shows..anyways tonight I went to a house party/dance party and it was fun. We danced for a couple hours and now I better get to bed because I work at 9 tomorrow! well much love to all of you!! and a big shout out to my one follower!! LAUREN ROERICK!!

Canmore

Well I wrote this huge blog the other day about my time here in Canmore but because my internet sucks the whole thing got deleted because my internet cut out so I will make this fast so I can kinda let everyone know what I've been up to. Well last week I headed out here to Canmore just out of the blue and it took me 6 hours to find it because this stupid guy in calgary gave me the wrong directions after I got through rush hour traffic so I was heading to Edmonton on the deerfoot instead of being on the Provincial highway!! IDIOT! anyways now I'm working at the Silver Creek Hotel which is beautiful by the way! it is kind of like a time share as a opposed to a hotel but you can still stay there like it's a hotel. The other hotel that Waymarker owns is the Georgetown Inn and it reminds me soo much of my Grandpa Hendry's farm in Cardston.. it is so quant and smells a lot of old people hahah. Anyways my roomate and I basically go to work and then come home and hang out for the rest of the night. I have been surviving off of the OC lately because my internet sucks and I also read a book by Jodi Picoult (my sisters keeper author) called the tenth circle... it was really good and definitely brought up some good questions for the audience. This week it has just been beautiful here, the sky is clear and the sun is out. The air is still a little chill but if the sun in hitting you it's not so bad. Clean hotels is soooo much work..these arn't little hotel rooms haha they are like 2 bedroom with king size beds with a double bathroom and single bathroom plus a living room and kitchen with island etc ....plus they make you clean the most intricate things...like each stainless steal handle has to be polished and all the furniture must be polished so everything looks shiny..I swear kids could die from touching all the chemicals on the furniture. Well tonight Megan and I are planning on watching the results show for dancing with the stars and then Megan has started making me watch Glee...I think it is stupid...to be honest but it is something she likes so I'm giving it a shot. Anyways I don't want to write too much just in case it gets deleted again..and might I just add that my last post was SO hilarious when I was explaining how I got lost getting up here but I'm too lazy to reinact it again because it will take me too long...

Well I will hopefully post everday from here on out so my mom doesn't get too worried about me

Living in Canmore

Summer!

Hey everybody!!
So I finally finished school on wednesday and it was like death! Everyone else had been done for over a week so I was feeling pretty much stuck alone at the school all the time. Well some of the marks have been posted, I got a couple A+'s and then some B's in my tough classes so I was pretty happy with the outcome of all my hard work. I'm so excited to be in accounting now instead of pharmacy...I LOVE going to school now. Anyways the past couple weeks I was telling everyone I was so excited to be done but now that I am, I am already bored out of my mind. It has only been two days of doing nothing and all I have done is sat around in my room watching the O.C. and eating food! The weather went crazy again but now it's looking sunshiny so I'm thinking maybe I should go for a walk or something tonight. Well nothing much else has happened lately but hopefully I'll be in waterton in the next couple weeks and I'll have more to do during the day!

The Crazy SNOW!!

Well today was interesting, we had a massive freak snow storm in the middle of april yesterday so everybody at my house decided to take a snow day today. I was so excited about having a day off that I got comfy in my bed and got my study notes out and decided I would lay in bed and study.....zzzzzz.....yeah that didn't work out so well. So after lunch I packed up my books and asked my daddy to drive me to school in his big truck. We shut the shop down today because all the people who supply our parts were out of power. Anyways so there I was on my snow day...sitting in the library studying...I am such a nerd!!!! Well I only have 4 more classes and counting till I am DONE! I can't believe another year of school has gone by again. I seriously feel like i just graduated but I've actually been out for 2 years....time flies. So now that I've wasted a sufficient amount of time on facebook and on here I should probably get back to the books!

My First Blog

So all of my friends were getting these blog spots and I decided to join. I thought it would be a fun way to share my thoughts and what I have been up to with whoever wanted to read about it! Plus it's a good way to have a journal that you can look back on whenever you want. Today I woke up and was walking from the institute building to the school and there was this nice warm wind blowing and I just thought it was a beautiful day, then I walked out of the school after class back to the institute building and it was NOT a nice day anymore haha! The wind was cold and it kept blowing dirt into my eyes and shoes and...oh my goodness...not a fun experience. On a better note, it was my very last psych 1000 night class! woo hoo! only one more week of classes..which means I'll be in the library non-stop..what fun it shall be. Atleast some of my other friends are nerds so we will be able to chat if we get bored. Anyways it is 11:07 and I should really be getting to bed..ya know that 9 oclock class comes earlier then you would expect...or maybe I just like my sleep a lot. Night!!
